Stu Robinson's seventh annual father-daughter dance a success

TAMPA - Stu's Father Daughter Dance was held at T. Pepin Hospitality Centre in Tampa.

Over 200 men and girls gathered to eat, talk and dance the night away. Guests heard from local music artist Shyann Roberts and former NFL player Michael Clayton before he read the Father's Pledge.

"Where you may wonder if others love you, you can rest in knowing I do," Clayton said.

Male attendees applauded Stu Robinson, host and founder, for continuing the dance.

The event has gone beyond just the fathers and daughters bonding, but somewhat a reunion amongst the men.

With several men stepping up as uncles, grandfathers and stepfathers to take the young ladies to the affair, the event helped to reinforce positive role models for today's young girls.
