TAMPA - A rollover crash on I-275 caused a a traffic nightmare near Downtown Tampa.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a SUV rolled over near Ashley Drive. A power pole fell as a result and blocked both northbound and southbound lanes.
The FHP says two vehicles were traveling northbound south of Ashley Drive when one of the drivers lost control. The car began to spin and struck the second vehicle.
The second vehicle flipped. The first vehicle hit the median wall causing a light pole to crash onto a tractor-trailer which was traveling southbound
Multiple lanes were shut down until 2:15 p.m. The driver of the first vehicle was ticketed for failure to use due care.
No names were released and no injuries were reported.
