Two job fairs in the Tampa area on Tuesday

Are you looking for a job? Two job fairs are being held Tuesday in the Tampa Bay area.

JobNewsUSA is holding a mega career fair in Clearwater. Twenty-seven top companies are looking to hire for more than 500 positions. The career fair is being held from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express at 2580 Gulf to Bay Blvd. Job seekers are encouraged to to pre-register here.  

Some of the companies hiring are Wal-mart, NAPA auto parts, AFLAC, Crown Automotive, Loews Hotels and the Pinellas County Government.

Job seekers should bring at least 25 copies of their updated resume.

If you are interested  in public safety, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is hosting an event to recruit communications operators for its Emergency Operation Bureau.

The job fair is at the Sarasota County Emergency Operations Center, 6050 Porter Way from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and again Saturday.

Applications need a high school diploma or GED and will have to pass an oral board review and background check. They should bring a completed application from www.SarasotaSheriff.org/Operations/911-Call-Center.
