Update: TPD officers located William Metzmeier, 90, within the City of Tampa on Thursday and he will be reunited with his family.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office needs assistance in finding a missing adult male.
William Metzmeier, 90, was last seen visiting a patient at Tampa General Hospital on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., according to police.
The family last spoke to Metzmeier via his house phone located at 1238 Tulipwood Dr. Seffner, FL on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
Metzmeier was supposed to go to the VA clinic on Thursday for a morning appointment, but failed to show. He was then supposed to visit TGH again, but failed to show.
He has no cell phone and suffers from several medical conditions.
Metzmeier is a white male, 5'6", 160 lbs, large build, fair complexion, white balding hair, blue eyes, and glasses. There is no clothing description at this time.
