Teen arrested, charged in Sulphur Springs murder

TAMPA - A man wanted in the March 20 shooting death of a Sulphur Springs man has been arrested in a rural area of Polk County.

Detectives say Johnson Louis, 18, shooting Keith Jones, 35, during a dispute in front of a home at 8108 North Semmes Street. Jones later died at a hospital.

A search led US Marshals and Tampa Police detectives to a small residence in the middle of an orange grove near Banks Road and Alternate Highway 27 on Tuesday.

They surrounded the home and Louis was arrested without incident.

He was booked into the Polk County Jail where he was held without bond on a second degree murder charge.
