TAMPA - Easton Corbin sang for more than 700 Future Farmers of America students Friday at the fairgrounds. It's an organization he knows well.
"I used to be that kid sitting out there. I was in that blue jacket. All through high school I showed cows, judged livestock." said Corbin.
Easton grew up in Florida and is now touring the world. During his set he also talked to the kids about the FFA, leadership and commitment.
"Whatever their dream is, as long as they work hard and follow through, they can do anything they want to and I think that's what the FFA is all about. Learning that responsibility, making lifelong friendships." said Corbin.
Easton says his years in the FFA helped make him who he is today and he's trying to get that message to the kids at today's show.
Today's concert is part of Dodge Ram's 'Year of the Farmer' and they donated $1,000,000 to the FFA.
