The zoo released a video to show his progress and he's even more adorable than we remembered.

Biologists rescued a week-old panther in Collier County in February after discovering the non-responsive kitten while conducting research.

The kitten was taken to the Naples’ Animal Specialty Hospital of Florida, where veterinarians and staff worked to save the male panther.

At the time of discovery by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Conservancy of Southwest Florida biologists, the kitten weighed about one pound and had a dangerously low body temperature, according to an FWC press release.

At 9-weeks old the kitten now weighs more than 10 pounds.

The zoo is preparing him for his transition to his permanent home at the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park.
