A 6-year-old boy died Friday morning, three days after he was struck by an SUV while riding his scooter.
Yves Zamora was hit about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday near the driveway of the Harvest Hope Center at 13704 N. 20th St. in Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Yves rode into the path of a southbound Nissan Xterra. The driver, Jack Bradley, 65, of Tampa swerved left but was unable to avoid hitting him.
Yves was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he passed away from injuries sustained in the crash.
Bradley was not charged in the crash.
