Suspect arrested in Pinellas Trail robberies

Authorities in St. Louis, Missouri have arrested an 18-year-old on three outstanding warrants in St. Petersburg, two involving robberies on the Pinellas Trail.
He's identified as Stephon Alexander Farrar. He was arrested Wednesday morning.
Detectives believe Farrar threatened a 16-year-old with a stun gun on May 20 and took his cell phone.  He's also suspected of robbing a 15-year-old of his cell phone on the Trail on June 23.
In addition, Farrar is suspected of robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint on June 21 in the area of 5th Avenue South and 51st Street.
Detectives are in the process of arranging Farrar's extradition to Pinellas County.
