Surveillance video shows burglar sneaking around occupied St. Petersburg home

Home video surveillance shows images of a man moving about an occupied house in St. Petersburg overnight Sunday morning.  Police need help identifying the burglar.
On March 16, 2014 just before 2:00 in the morning, an unidentified man snuck into the home in the 3800 block of 39th St. South through an unsecured sliding glass door.
The suspect walked around the house, picking up valuables.  He eventually opened the door to the bedroom of the two victims. One victim produced a handgun, and the suspect ran out of the home.
The suspect is a male, either light-skinned black or Hispanic, with close-cut hair and a close-cut beard.  He was wearing a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, light colored shorts, and dark Nike shoes.  A tattoo of the number "8" is on his left calf and a number "4" on his right calf.
St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.  Anyone with information should call Detective Ricky Carter at (727) 893-4095 or the police non-emergency number at 727-893-7780, or they may leave a confidential tip at 727-892-5000.
