SPPD: Bank robbery caught on video

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A man implying he had a gun held up a SunTrust bank in St. Petersburg on Tuesday.  The robbery was captured by surveillance camera.

The crime occurred shortly after noon at the 301 38th Avenue North branch.

The suspect handed a note to a teller, suggesting he was armed, police say.

He's described as a white males, 50-60 years old, 120-140 lbs, and 5'5" to 5'7".

He was wearing a three-button long-sleeved blue jersey, faded blue jeans, white sneakers, a dark fisherman's-style hat and dark sunglasses.
