Accused of child molestation, fugitive St. Pete doctor Rory Patrick Doyle extradited to Pinellas

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -
Rory Patrick Doyle was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on Thursday, after U.S. Marshals took custody of the fugitive from authorities in Casablanca, Morocco.
Doyle, 58, fled the United States in 2001 to avoid prosecution on alleged child molestation charges in Pinellas County. He was arrested in Tangier by Moroccan law enforcement authorities in November, 2012.
The St Petersburg doctor was originally arrested in July, 2000, by St. Petersburg Police as well as Treasure Island Police on allegations of child molestation between 1994 and 2000. While awaiting a trial, Doyle fled the U.S. to avoid prosecution.
