St. Pete police are investigating the death of a 76-year-old St. Petersburg man as a homicide.
Police say on Monday, October 24, Robert Bonnell, 76, was found dead inside of his home on 6th Avenue North by his roommate.
At first, there were no obvious signs of trauma and Bonnell's death was considered unattended.
After further investigation, detectives now suspect foul play and they are treating Bonnell's death as a homicide.
