Homeless man found using hotel room in St. Pete Beach

ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. - A homeless man was arrested for using a hotel room and running up $3,000 in charges to a pervious guest.  It happened at the Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach.

According to a release, sheriff’s deputies responded to the hotel after staff at discovered that belongings in a hotel room and driver’s license that did not match the guest on record.

Deputies say the license belonged to David Gordon Price.  Deputies say that Price was in the hotel for 3-5 days and accrued charges of $3,000 on a previous guest's credit card.

Price was found nearby on Gulf Boulevard.

He was arrested for defrauding an innkeeper and grand theft.
