Arrest made in Seminole hit-and-run crash

Pinellas County deputies have made an arrest in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Seminole.
Daniel McCaslin, 44, of Seminole, was arrested Thursday evening in Treasure Island.
The motorcyclist, Randy Deane, 55, of Largo, was traveling south on Seminole Boulevard on his 2006 Harley-Davidson the night of August 20th.
McCaslin, who was heading north in a silver sedan, turned in front of Deane who struck the rear of the vehicle, according to a sheriff's statement.
Deputies say tips played a role in leading them to McCaslin.
He's charged with Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Serious Bodily Injury and one count of Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Property Damage.
