Police hope electronic road signs will lead to break in murder case

Temple Terrace police hope electronic signs placed along the Courtney Campbell Causeway will lead to a break in the Felecia Williams murder case.

Police put the signs that request information up Friday morning.

They hope someone who drives the road regularly or was there two weeks ago and saw something suspicious will help answer their questions.

Felecia was reported missing May 16. Her body was found in the water along the causeway the next day.

Since then police have arrested Granville Ritchie on unrelated drug charges. While he is a suspect in the 9-year-old’s death, he has not been charged with her murder.

Police say any information, no matter how small, is valuable.

The signs will be in place through the weekend.

Up to $13,000 in reward money is being offered for information. To give information to police, call 813-989-7110.
