Deputies investigate homicide inside Gibsonton RV home

A man was shot dead late Wednesday night in a RV home in Gibsonton, according to deputies with Hillsborough County.
HCSO spokesman Larry McKinnon said they got a 911 call around 11:20 p.m. reporting a man being shot inside the home at 11201 Inglewood Dr.
Paramedics with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Deputies said at least one other person was inside the home when it happened.

Forensic crews are now collecting evidence inside the home after waiting seven hours for a judge to sign off on a search warrant.

"We are in the process of interviewing witnesses right now.  So, I don't have what they've revealed to us but they are cooperating with us," said Col. Donna Lusczynski with HCSO.

Deputies interviewed a woman and were taking photographs of her outside the home but would not comment on if the woman was involved or played a role in the homicide.

Neighbor David Marshall told ABC Action News he knew the victim and that he lived alone.

"He was a nice guy," said Marshall.

Marshall said the neighborhood is normally quiet and he did not hear anything last night.
