Sarasota Police Officers rescued baby duck from storm drain

SARASOTA, Fla. - A baby duckling was rescued from a storm drain on Sunday by Sarasota police officers along with an Animal Service Officer and city workers.

The family of ducks were crossing US 41 at Wisteria in Sarasota when the duckling separated from its mother and  fell into the storm drain.

A bystander saw what happened and flagged down two police officers.

The officers then requested assistance.

The rescue was successful.
