Man in clown mask robs couple at gun point in own home

SARASOTA, Fla. - A couple was robbed after three people broke into their home Saturday night.

According to Sarasota deputies one of the suspects was wearing a clown mask during the home invasion. The three suspects, two men and one woman, allegedly came into the home on Booker Avenue through the back door.

One was armed with a pistol and ordered Tannis Phillips, 62, to the ground. Demetria Dunbar, 41, was the other victim involved in the case.

The suspects took the couple's money and fled from the house in an older model charcoal grey Lexus SUV. They were headed toward 25th Street and Tuttle Avenue.

No injuries were reported during the home invasion.

The other two suspects are described as a woman wearing blue khakis, a black sweater, tennis shoes and a white shirt over her head and a heavy set man with a low fade haircut armed with a pistol.
