Sarasota Police search for man who exposed himself to children at resort on Lido Beach

SARASOTA, Fla. - Sarasota Police have released a sketch of a man who exposed himself to children at a beach resort.

Detectives said the man exposed himself at the Lime Tree Resort on Lido Beach located at 1050 Benjamin Franklin Drive on July 7.

The sketch depicts a white male with a slender build, 25-35 years old and approximately 150 lbs.

According to police reports, two girls were playing ping pong inside a game room at the resort when the suspect came near them while he was masturbating.  The suspect then threatened to sexually harm them. 

Sarasota Police said several people chased the suspect towards Ted Sperling Park, but police were never able to find him.

The suspect was last seen wearing black swim trunks or long pants and carrying a dirty white shirt and flip flops.
