PARRISH, Fla. - A burglar cut the phone lines, removed an ATM and cut open a metal safe at a Manatee County sandwich shop.
It happened Tuesday evening at PJ's Sandwich Shop located 12342 US-301 in Parrish.
"The deputies said it was done by professionals," said owner Teresa Giles.
Police say the suspect forced entry, removed the ATM and cut open a small metal safe. The store closes at 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, so the break-in happened after hours. The shop has been in business since 1984.
"We have the best customers they are all helping me out," said Giles.
There is no video or pictures from the incident, but if you have any information on the burglary, contact Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
