BRADENTON, Fla. - The members of the Southern Manatee Fire Department can now say they truly never back down from a challenge, even if it means dancing shirtless on national television.
Firefighters with the Bradenton-based fire house submitted a music video of them dancing and lip syncing to the song "Safe & Sound" by Capital Cities as part of a Good Morning America contest.
The contest challenges firefighters to submit a video to "Safe & Sound" for a chance to win $10,000.

Firefighter Christi Hollins submitted the video hoping to win money for education classes for the community and emergency preparedness classes for her colleagues.
If you're wondering, the star firefighter of the video is Justin Sperko.
He was out of town when his colleagues got the news that they'd be featured Friday on Good Morning America.
The Southern Manatee Fire Department was the only video from Florida to be named a finalist.
Next, they'll compete for votes head-to-head with another department.
You can vote for your local firefighters Friday from 8 a.m. through 3 p.m. at Goodmorningamerica.com .
