BRADENTON - Police are searching for the suspects in a Bradenton drive-by house shooting after shots fired barely missed three children sleeping in their bedroom Thursday morning.
Officials say deputies responded to 614 Ave Ter W for an abandoned 911 call.
Four adult men, one adult woman and four children, ages 2 through 9 were outside when deputies arrived at 11:13 p.m. All parties denied that there was any problem.
About a half an hour later, a vehicle described as a black Grand Marquis or Impala drove eastbound on 60 th Ave Ter. W drove by the home and occupants shot at least 23 rounds at the home.
The bullets hit the concrete wall and hit the glass windows. Several rounda passed through glass and through sheet-rock walls.
The suspect vehicle fled east bound. The children were inside the forund bedroom on the bed, a foot below where a round entered into the bedroom.
Abraham Ramos, 24, was grazed by a bullet on the back of his head, causing a three to four-inch cut on his scalp. Ramos refused medical attention.
The investigation is ongoing.
