Two injured in Winter Haven four-wheeler crash

Winter Haven Police are investigating a crash between a four-wheeler and an Oldsmobile that happened Saturday evening on Sixth Street.

Officials say 21-year-old Treska Burnham was airlifted to Lakeland Regional Medical Center this evening after shewas seriously injured when the four-wheeler she was a passenger on crashed into the back of a vehicle.

At approximately 6:07 p.m., police say Cedric Anthony Reese, Jr. was traveling east on Sears Avenue NE with Burnham riding as a passenger.

The pair crashed into the rear passenger side bumper of a 1995 Oldsmobile that was traveling south on Sixth Street NE, driven by 34-year-old Honore Hopkins.

Reese was taken to Winter Haven Hospital in stable condition and Burnham was flown to Lakeland Regional Medical Center in serious condition with head injuries. Hopkins was not injured in the crash. Reese and Burnham were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
