An overnight crash involving two pick up trucks closed a road in Winter Haven and downed power lines, causing some residents to be without power on Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred on the west side of Lake Elbert, closing the roadway between Drexel Avenue NE and Avenue F NE. The crash pulled power lines to the ground and caused a power outage for residents in the area.
Avoid the area if at all possible.
