Arrest warrant issued in robbery and beating of a 76-year-old smoke shop owner

LAKELAND, Fla. - An arrest warrant has been issued for one of the suspects believed to be involved in the beating of a smoke shop owner in Lakeland.

Angel Miguel Molina, 28, is now wanted by police for strong armed robbery and battery on a person 65 years of age or older. 

According to a news release, on Thursday two men robbed the Mark Twain Smoke Shop located at 124 West Main Street. 

During the robbery, Lakeland Police say the owner of the shop, a 76-year-old woman, was beat up. She sustained non-life threatening injuries. 

The suspects escaped with a total of $18.00.

LPD says Molina has a history of violence. They are warning people not to approach him, but to contact police immediately if they see him.

The other suspect has still not been identified.
