Interstate 4 eastbound lanes reopened after crash in Polk County

POLK COUNTY, Fla. - All eastbound lanes are open on Interstate 4 after a tractor-trailer overturned, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to FHP spokesperson Steve Gaskins, the semi truck was towing a trailer containing 44,000 gallons of orange juice when it rear-ended a Buick, impacted a Honda, crashed into a Publix 19-wheeler, and then overturned, blocking all eastbound lanes for several hours.

The driver of the Buick was transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
