Third teenager arrested in attack on Pinellas Park man

Pinellas Park police have arrested a third teenager in the beating of an 83-year-old man this week.
Jazmine Burney, 15, was taken into custody Thursday evening.
She is the final suspect accused of severely beating and robbing Charles Clark of Pinellas Park. Authorities accuse the group of returning to his home to steal his vehicle Tuesday, the same day of the beating.
Suspects Antonio Peterson, 16, and his younger brother, Xavier Peterson, 13, were arrested Wednesday.
Police said Burney returned to her home Thursday evening and her parents called police. She cooperated with detectives.
She will be charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon.
Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg police worked together to investigate the case.
“It’s been a long couple of days,” said Sgt. Adam Geissenberger, Pinellas Park Police spokesman.
