Jacob Benjamin Johnson is accused of sexually assaulting a pregnant woman on the side of a Pinellas County road.
The incident happened Friday morning near a construction site at 49th Street North and 150th Avenue North.
According to the arrest affidavit, the victim was walking southbound on 49th when she was pushed down by the 26-year-old Johnson into a grassed area. Johnson began punching the victim and shouting how he wanted her so bad. He then pinned the victim to the ground with one arm while removing her pants with the other.
The victim, whom is eight months pregnant, began screaming for help. A construction worker nearby ran over to help and scared Johnson away.
Johnson then fled the scene on a bicycle. He was apprehended one block away and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
Johnson is being charged with aggravated sexual battery on a pregnant woman.
Police say Johnson and the victim do not personally know each other.
