PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is "Drumming to Beat The Bullies."
It's an event to help educate students and their parents about bullying and how it's not a harmless crime.
Pinellas County School Resource Deputy Ural Darling, along with other law enforcement members, students, teachers and community leaders will beat the drums against bullying for 12 straight hours.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the problem of bullying in schools and to encourage intervention and prevention before matters escalate and get out of hand.
