Pinellas County deputy arrested on disorderly intoxication charge

A Pinellas County sheriff’s deputy was arrested Saturday on a charge of disorderly intoxication in a public place.
Jeffrey De Cresie, 48, who has been a Pinellas deputy since June 2000, was taken into custody about 10 p.m. at Fifth Avenue and First Street South in St. Petersburg, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
De Cresie is assigned to the patrol operations bureau of the agency's central district.
He was booked into Pinellas County Jail.
