A St. Pete duo were reportedly caught on camera trying to steal 10 gallons of BBQ sauce from a restaurant Monday night.

India Kyler, 31, and Jarquez Long, 33, both of St. Petersburg, are facing burglary charges.  Long is also facing drug possession charges.

According to an arrest affidavit, Long and Kyler walked in through the back door of Big Tim's BBQ shortly after 8 p.m. as an employee took out the trash.

The restaurant is located off 5th Avenue South.

Kyler used to work at the restaurant before it came under different ownership, police say.

Police say Kyler tried taking two five gallon buckets of BBQ sauce and reportedly yelled at the owner, "this is our sauce."

Kyler was told to leave and that is when Long jumped in to help her take the sauce, police say.

The duo then poured all of the BBQ sauce on to the floor and owner before taking off out the back door, police added.

The owner reportedly grabbed a chair for protection and began to mace Long.

An arrest affidavit states the incident was caught on camera.

Long was arrested the next day during a traffic stop.  Police say inside of Long's car they found a bag of marijuana.
