PCSO make arrest in couples critical shooting

Deputies arrest one suspect, seek another

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting at the Sunshine Mobile Home Park located at 7403 46th Ave North in unincorporated Saint Petersburg.

Detectives found 42-year-old Rosa Pereira 46-year-old David Sharp suffering from life-threatening injuries. Sharp and Pereira were said to have been standing in the carport of the mobile home when they were shot.

Deputies arrested 55-year-old Francis Bahr in connection with the shooting. He is facing two counts of attempted first degree murder.

A second suspect is being sought still in the case. Deputies believe another person was with Bahr at the time of the shooting.

Both Sharp and Pereira are being treated for their injuries at local hospitals. They both suffer from gunshot wounds to their upper bodies and are in critical condition.

Sharp and Pereira had recently started dating and had been living together for the past six months. Deputies believe Bahr wanted a relationship with Pereira, but she wasn't interested.

Pereira, Sharp and Bahr all lived in the same mobile home park.

The shooting is not drug related, officials say.
