PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - After reported gunshots early Wednesday, a car was driven into a ditch when Pinellas County deputies attempted to pull it over.
Patrol deputies responded to a call around 3:00 a.m., in which a witness said someone fired multiple rounds out of the vehicle in the area of 62nd Avenue North and 28th Street.
Deputies caught up with the suspect on Park Blvd., and attempted a stop. However, the vehicle fled and drove off the roadway into a ditch.
The passenger remained behind while the driver fled on foot. A K-9 unit was deployed and the driver was apprehended.
Deputies arrested two 16-year-olds in connection with the crimes.
