ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. - Deputies arrested the drivers of two cars in the St. Pete Beach pedestrian death of 17-year-old Patrick McClean last Spring.
According to investigators, on March 22, 2014, at approximately 12:44 a.m., McClean was crossing Gulf Boulevard when he was struck by a 2011 Hyundai driven by 50-year-old Patsy Harris in the southbound lanes.
McClean was then run over by another vehicle, a 2008 Volkswagen driven by 27-year-old Sean Daniel.
McClean was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to deputies, both drivers showed signs of impairment at the time of the crash. Deputies continued their investigation and arrest warrants were issued for both Harris and Daniel on Tuesday, August 12.
Harris and Daniel turned themselves in to the Pinellas County Jail on Wednesday morning.
Harris is charged with DUI Manslaughter and has a $100,000 bond.
Daniel is charged with DUI Manslaughter and Driving While License Suspended or Revoked and has a $100,500 bond.
