TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. - The Society for Commercial Archaeology toured the Tampa Bay area for a few days this week to appreciate signs and business design you might ignore.
They stopped by the World Liquor globe in St. Petersburg, and a couple of hotels and motels in Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach. They also visited historic residential and commercial survivors of the Sarasota School of Architecture, and Sarasota Jungle Gardens, a vintage roadside attraction.
ABC Action News multi-media journalist Corey Dierdorff joined them for a while Thursday. Watch his report in the video player above.
