LAND O' LAKES, Fla. - Pasco County deputies said they caught up to two men wanted in connection with the double murder of two Hudson women hiding out in an Indiana motel.
After a standoff, deputies were able to arrest Zachary Baker, but say the other man, Baker's stepfather, Richard Morris, committed suicide before he could be taken into custody.
Deputies say the victims, Jessica Keith and Amber Jordan, were selling crack to the suspects from their Hudson home when they were killed earlier this month. The house was set on fire to cover up the crime, deputies said.
Authorities said after the murders, Morris and Baker fled to Michigan where they committed armed home invasions before they were found in Indiana.
Deputies said the two victims found murdered in Pasco County had been robbed by Baker and Morris during a previous drug deal in December.
