PASCO COUNTY, Fla. - A Pasco County man facing criminal charges disappeared earlier this month along with his wife and two young sons. They haven't been seen since and investigators have grown increasingly concerned about the well-being of the mother and her children.
Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco will brief the media at 3 p.m. Watch it live here: http://wfts.tv/V2uW2W
Deputies say between January 10 and 12, Jennifer Bruce ended all contact with family and friends. Bruce, 28, had taken her two sons Brett Bruce, 5, and Dillon Bruce, 7, out of Longleaf Elementary School.
While attempting to locate her, deputies say Jennifer, her two boys and her husband, Garrett Bruce, 31, were nowhere to be found. The inside of their home at 4201 La Pasida in New Port Richey showed no signs of foul play or that the family had gathered belongings for relocation. The family car was also at the residence.
Prior to January 10, Garrett Bruce was facing DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges in Pinellas County. He was out on $100,000 bond and was being monitored by the bondsman via an ankle bracelet which Garrett had removed.
Garrett failed to show up for a bond hearing on Monday.
Investigators believe Jennifer Garrett left with the children voluntarily and are now considered missing person cases.
