LUTZ, Fla - Pasco County deputies say a drunk mother jumped out of a moving car while holding her 20-month-old child Sunday.
Erin Doyle, 26, of 11235 Peach Blossom Road, Brooksville, is facing child neglect charges.
Authorities say Doyle was riding in the passenger seat of her fiancee's car when the two began to argue. An arrest report states she was holding the child in her lap. The child was reportedly not restrained.
Deputies say while Doyle's fiancee made a U-turn, Doyle continued to yell, opened the car door and stepped out of the moving car with her child in her arms.
Doyle fell on to the ground and rolled several times with the child in her arms, deputies say.
The child suffered scrape marks to her cheek and shin, an arrest affidavit states.
Deputies believe Doyle was under the influence of alcohol and noted a strong odor of alcohol on her breath.
Several people witnessed the incident and called 911.
Doyle was arrested and taken to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center. Her bond was set at $5,000.
