Deputies: Two women found dead in Hudson house fire were murdered

HUDSON, Fla. - Two women who were found dead in a house fire on Monday were murdered, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.  Investigators believe Hudson residence was set on fire to cover up the crime.

Neighbors say Jessica Keith, 24, and her roommate Amber Lynn Jordan, 24, had only lived in their Pine Street home for about a month.

Smoke was seen coming from the residence around 7 a.m. on Monday.

One neighbor said by the time he got to the deck stairs, flames were shooting from the windows and door.
"It was so hot. It's like I got an instant suntan," he said.

The neighbor said he saw one of the women, but the intense heat became too much for him to help.

Cars belonging to the women were missing from the scene.
