23 rescued dogs to be placed for adoption

A volunteer brought 23 dogs to the Suncoast Animal League in Palm Harbor on Wednesday.

The dogs were rescued from a puppy mill in Tallahassee.

They first will be bathed and groomed, then vetted.

The folks at Suncoast Animal League hope to find foster homes for the puppies as soon as possible, because the shelter is overwhelmed.

Most will be spayed and neutered in the next couple of days and eligible for adoption by the weekend.

If you can care for one of these dogs, even on a temporary basis, call the Suncoast Animal League at 727-786-1330.
