According to investigators, 65-year-old Marie Mikuliza was traveling westbound on Tampa Road in the left turn lane, approaching St. Petersburg Drive shortly before 2:50 p.m.

The front passenger seat of the Cadillac DeVille, was occupied by Marie's husband 80-year-old Joseph Mikuliza.
Deputies say Mr. Mikuliza became trapped in the vehicle from the impact. It took Oldsmar Fire Rescue 30 minutes to get him out.
Mikuliza was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
He was pronounce deceased at the hospital at 4:17 p.m.
