Largo police say a man was killed late Friday afternoon following a fight.
Officers were called to a second floor apartment 4500 East Bay Drive by neighbors shortly before 6 p.m. They reported that a male was bleeding.
Marvin Haddock, 26, was dead when police arrived, according to a statement.
Reports from the scene indicated the death was the result of a dispute that lasted much of day. Haddock had been involved in an argument with Charles Yantis, 24 when things turned physical.
The two men challenged each other to a fight. Yantis had a knife and cut Haddock on the arm, but police say he didn't stop there. He proceeded to kill Haddock after others watching insisted he drop the knife.
All parties involved are acquaintances and all were being questioned at police headquarters, police said.
