LARGO, Fla. - "There's no reason that somebody should be as sick-minded as that," offered the woman standing in the rain.
The Largo woman said her four-year old son was molested by 59-year-old Robert Green. Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies say Green admitted to molesting and sexually battering the boy.
"No child deserves to be treated like that from anybody," said the woman.
The Sheriff's Office isn't disclosing the how the suspect came into contact with the victim.
"Mr Green was not a daycare employee, he was not a school teacher. He didn't, to my knowledge at this point in time, have access to a large amount of children all at one time," explained Cristen Rensel with the Sheriff's office.
Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit suspect that there may be other victims of Green's still out there.
"Our detectives are looking for anyone that could have had contact with Mr. Green, and suspect that he could have had contact with their children," said Rensel.
The victim's mom has a message for other parents.
"If he has done it to other children or other people, then yeah, they need to come forward because he deserves what he's going to get; and he's going to face the fullest," she said.
