25-year-old Troy David Deloach dies after crashing his all-terrain vehicle in western Alaska

BETHEL, Ala. - A 25-year-old Dunedin man died early Wednesday morning from injuries suffered after crashing his all-terrain vehicle in Alaska.

KYUK reports ( http://is.gd/6UQdgf ) the accident occurred in Bethel, a town of around 6,000 people in western Alaska, some 400 miles west of Anchorage.

Bethel police report a witness saw the wrecked four-wheel ATV near a boat launch and Troy David Deloach on the ground nearby having trouble breathing.

Paramedics responded and took Deloach to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Friends of Deloach in Alaska learned of his death and notified his family in Florida.

While authorities say Deloach had alcohol and drugs in his system at the time of the crash, they have not confirmed if the substances played a part in the accident.
