VIDEO: Couple used boy to commit crimes at Clearwater businesses, police say

CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. - Police are looking for a couple who they say used a young boy to help  commit a pair of crimes at Clearwater Beach.

The crimes occurred Sunday evening at the Ron Jon Surf Shop at 377 Mandalay Blvd., where items were stolen.  Video also captured the boy, believed to be about 10-years-old, entering a Hooters Restaurant taking purses from a back room, police say.

All of the stolen items were placed in a baby stroller.

Around 6:30 p.m., someone tried to use a victim's debit card at a Target on Gulf-to-Bay Blvd.

The older male suspect is 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 190 pounds and has a shaved head. He was last seen wearing gray shorts and a black Ron Jon t-shirt. The shirt was stolen from the store as well after he changed into it and left.

The female suspect is 30 to 35 years, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. She has brown hair and was last seen wearing a bright green shirt and gray or brown capris.

The male juvenile was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and gray shorts. The child's face was blurred in the video to protect his identity.
