Suspicious package found on Cleveland Street in Clearwater, contained TV antenna

CLEARWATER, Fla. - UPDATE: Scene is cleared. Item in package was a TV antenna.

PREVIOUS: Clearwater police received a call Monday morning about a suspicious package at 612 Cleveland Street.  The Tampa police Bomb Squad was called in and the surrounding businesses evacuated.

The call came in around 9:15 a.m. The package was outside of the Station Square Park and Station Square Condominiums.

Cleveland was shut down in the area to pedestrians and vehicles.

The bomb squad arrived shortly before 11 a.m and began inspecting the package.

According to a police statement, "The package is a standard cardboard package that is poorly wrapped. It is addressed to a location in Indiana and there is no return address."
