The City of Tampa's Department of Solid Waste is even busier with bulk pickup around this time of year because of people doing their spring cleaning.

The department wants to remind people that they can find a schedule of when the city will be in their area for one week to pick up trash for free by going to the Solid Waste Enhanced Environmental Program.

There you can find a map and dates of when the large dump trucks will be in your area.

The city estimates they collect around 3,000 tons of miscellaneous trash a year.

If you need to report trash on your street you can contact the city's Tampa utility call center at 813-274-8811, but if it's during an unscheduled week, there may be a fee.
