The annual Temple Terrace Fire Department Open House will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Fire Station No. 1, 124 Bullard Parkway.
The event, which is free is held annually in recognition of National Fire Prevention Month in October.
Ladder trucks, pumpers and rescue vehicles will be part of the event, which will allow kids to experience what it's like to be a firefighter by putting out simulated house fires with water hoses.
There will also be a bike rodeo for kids, puppet shows, a balloon artist and other entertainment.
