Temple Terrace Police: Felecia Williams' death ruled homicide

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Autopsy reveals that body of Felecia Williams was found Saturday in the water near Courtney Campbell Causeway.  Death Ruled homicide.

9-year-old Felecia Williams' mom says she believes her daughter's body was found floating near the Courtney Campbell Causeway Saturday afternoon.

Temple Terrace police arrested Eboni Wiley, 23, Saturday night for giving false information to police. She was allegedly the woman looking after Felecia Williams when she went missing Friday night.

A female's body was found floating near the Courtney Campbell Causeway Saturday afternoon. Police responded to the north side of the Causeway at around 3:30p.m.  Two fishermen discovered the body floating alongside the rocks and mangroves off the access road north of the Causeway. Temple Terrace Police say the body is likely 9-year-old Felecia Williams. Williams' mother told ABC Action News she is convinced the body is her daughter.

Previous: It's been over 24 hours since 9-year-old Felecia Nicole Williams disappeared. "I just want my baby back. I just want my baby back," Felecia's sister Shakelia Givens said as she broke down in tears.

Givens is living through a nightmare. A nightmare that continues getting worse with every passing minute. "It's been hell," Givens said. "Something happened. She didn't run away. She didn't just walk off. She didn't."

Givens is Felecia's older sister and has nicknamed her Sugar Plum. "I named her that. That's my sugar plum since she was a baby."

Temple Terrace Police say Williams went missing around 5:30 Friday evening. She and a family friend went to the Doral Oaks Apartments. The friend, who sometimes took care of Felecia, was in the shower. When she came out, Felecia was missing. Police right now do not suspect the friend.  "At this point we really don't have any information on what happened to her other than she wandered off. There's no indication at the point of an abduction or any fouled play," Temple Terrace spokesperson Michael Dunn said.

"She would never, never leave. Never, never wonder off," Givens said.

Friday night and all day Saturday police and fire crews knocked on doors and searched the area in and around the apartment complex. They also passed out flyers.

Family members are just praying their little sugar plum is ok, trying not to think the worst.  "I don't want to think about it, because I can't take it if she's gone," Givens said.

Givens does have a message if her worse fears is confirmed. "Just come home, you're not in trouble. Just come to me. You know where I live. Just call us," she pleaded.

Multiple law enforcement agencies and family members will continue searching and passing out flyers in hopes of finding Felecia. Police have no plans right now to expand the search area. They will continue to look in and around the Doral Oaks apartments.
